The goalkeeper of the Boss “Al Zaeem”, Khaled Issa, began the press conference saying: “First of all, I would like to thank Allah, who actually helped us to qualify. I believe that the match was dramatic, but we expected that Al Nassr will attack us from the very outset, since they lost at Al Ain, and I should thank my teammates for their consistency and composure, especially after we conceded the second goal, because this particular situation was the turning point in the match.”

Responding to a question about his defending penalty kicks efficiently, he said:  “Actually I analyze the status of the opposing team’s strikers and I thank Allah and the goalkeeper coach who meets with me before every game to discuss all matters related to shooting, including penalty kicks.”

Regarding the team he wishes to meet in the semi-final between Al Hilal or Al Ittihad, he said: “It is too early to talk about the opponent that we will face in the semi-final, as we will play a very critical match in the League within four days, and we are totally focused on this match now, after we qualified at the expense of one of the candidates for the AFC Champions League in today’s match.”

“It is Al Ain destiny to be one of the top clubs in Asia, and as long as you’re a big club, you must compete in all tournaments. We currently have a top-quality technical staff which adopts a rotation policy between 25 players, which we did not experience years ago,” he continued.
