Al Ain Loses to Khorfakkan

Al Ain Football Team lost to their guests, Khorfakkan, by 4-2 in round 1 of the Arabian Gulf Cup’s playoff stage held at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Thursday 8th October.

The first half ended by 1-1, and Al Ain’s player Mohsen Abdullah was sent off with a red card in his pocket at the “89th” minute of the match.

Khorfakkan took the lead at “34” when the Ivorian Quami Ottoni, but Mohammed Abdul Rahman leveled the result at “45+2”.

Khorfakkan, in the second half, retook the lead through Juninho at “47”. It took Khorfakkan only one minute to score their third goal “48”. Al Ain reduced the gap when Brazil’s Rafael Antonio scored the second goal at “71”, but Khorfakkan had another word to say and scored their fourth goal at “82”.
