Hazza bin Zayed’s trust and interest and Sultan bin Hamdan’sfollow-up give us the greatest motives to win

Khaled Issa, the man of the match between Al Ain and IttihadKalba and goalkeeper of the Boss (Al Zaeem), described his team’s match in the second leg of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup semi-final as complex, stating: “I do not mean here the theoretical confrontation as we entered the game with two goals in the first leg. During the technical meeting, we spoke before the match about the team’s situation starting with the coach, Bandar, and personally to all team members, about the importance of concentration on this match, closing the file of the first-leg match, and not thinking about the next Al Nassr match.”

Commenting on a question about the reason for his declining performance at the beginning of the season and the password of his regaining his remarkable level at the present time, he said: “In football, sometimes a player experiences a declining level and there are no password to regaining his level because there isa high trust and continuous support that everyone receives fromHis Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, First Vice President of Al Ain Club, First Vice Chairman of Al Ain Honorary Council, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, and the constant follow up of His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdanbin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, Chairman of the Executive Committee, and Chairman of the Steering Committee for Al Ain Football Club Company Affairs which give us great motivation to achieve our personal ambitions and make the loyal Ainawifans happy.”

“There are people whom I always make sure to consult in the technical and administrative staff in addition to Al Ain fans as I consider myself a good listener for them, and I consider their opinions so critical that I will talk about them one day because Al Ain fans and Emirati football have a special culture that prompts me to benefit from them,” he continued.
