All Set to Play Against Al Orooba.. Kouame: So Pleased to Rejoin the Squad and Defend the Boss Squad
Being away for nearly two months due to his recent injury, Al Ain Team’s defender Kouame Autonne expressed his sincere pleasure to be back and to defend the Boss badge shoulder to shoulder with his teammates.
“I have a strong desire to defend the Boss badge and show my genuine fighting spirit in all matches to make the loyal Ainawi fans happy,” he stated in the pre-match press conference of matchweek 18 of ADNOC Pro League against Al Orouba Team.
He pointed out that the team played yesterday the first leg of the semifinal match of the Pro League Cup and was held to a 1-1 draw, which is not bad at all, given the team was playing an away match.
He added: “However, we will play the second leg match here in Hazza bin Zayed Stadium and will perform better to ensure the team qualifies to the final match.”
Responding to a question on the team’s preparations for the coming match against Al Orouba, he said: “We all fully ready for Al Orouba match and know well what we are meant to do, given that we were held to draw yesterday against Al Jazira as I stated earlier.”
Kouame stressed that the squad players would identify the mistakes committed in the recent match to correct them.
He concluded his statement by pointing out the team’s goal is always to win the opponents with all due respect to their aspirations and hoped to see the loyal fans behind the team in the stands the day after tomorrow.
