Hernán Crespo, the Argentine manager of Al-Ain, said in the introductory press conference for his team’s match vs Hatta: “In the beginning, when talking about our preparations we have to understand the huge physical pressure performed by the team, then we can choose the most prepared players. Reality asserts that it is not easy to choose your formation in line with matches pressure circumstances, so players who played less than their on-field teammates need to be on the required level of readiness. Durning next hours, we will decide who will be on the on-field list of players in our next match vs Hatta.”

Commenting on a question on competitors who are considering playing against Al-Ain as a championship, he said: “It is for sure we feel very proud and I understand very-well that this matter is natural, so we always strive to perform our best to claim victories, and this is the kind of mentality that is governing every match Al-Ain plays.”

On his team’s forward player Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba’s injury and the possibility of him joining in the team’s next match vs Hatta, he said: “In fact, Laba’s injury news are not good for us, for this player will be absent in Thursday’s match, while medical reports will determine today or tomorrow the time span needed for the player to rehabilitate and return again to the team’s group exercises; this is the reality in football realm, and we have to be well prepared for all possibilities, while Laba is an important player for the team; but we have options and alternatives who can perform on the needed level and Jonatas Santos was a good example, though he did not play in several matches but he could make the difference and contributed with the team to claim three important points in ADNOC Pro League.”

On considering their match vs Al-Nassr before team’s match vs Hatta, he said: “For the time being, we have to focus on our match vs Hatta, because it is very important for us in the competition race to claim Pro League’s title. We will talk afterwards on the team’s match in AFC Champions League.”
