Al Ain Team Has the Best Fans.. Laba Kodjo: We Are Fully Ready to Play First Match of the President’s Cup
Al Ain Team Togo’s striker, Laba Kodjo, expressed his pleasure that the team is back to play official matches after the long break due to FIFA days.
“We will be back to play in competitions which is our job. We always feel happy when we play football as we enjoy that,” Laba stated in the pre-match press conference of the round 32 match of the President’s Cup.
He also pointed out that the President’s Cup competition differs from the league.
“As this competition is so precious to us, we prepared well for the coming match. We played a match against Dibba Al Fujairah Team in the ADNOC Pro League, and they proved to be a tough squad. They enjoy a significant fighting spirit and high ambitions. However, we always focus on the pre-match preparations and work hard in the training sessions to ensure qualifying for Round 16.”
Laba added: “It is a fact that Al Ain Club has the best fans in UAE. I am happy we will see them again in Thursday’s match.”
He signed off by saying: “I look forward to seeing them in massive numbers to motivate the team, which is the most important thing. I am confident they will come and support us.”
