Lee Myung: we aspire to continue solid results in Jeddah
Lee Myung-joo, the South Korean footballer of Al Ain, asserted that his team will have the most important match tonight against Al Ahli Saudi.
He elaborated, “We realize that our mission in Jeddah will not be that easy. We are also aware that the most important thing currently is to continue the solid results in the Asian tournament, after defeating Bunyodkor in the Uzbekistani Capital “Tashkent”.
“It is a fact that the champion of the Saudi League will be focusing in the current season to prove itself in the continental tournament, however, the opponents know well that Al Ain is well equipped with many elements, mainly the experience in the Asian competitions, the huge capabilities of the team and the strong desire of the tem to achieve the best results, achieving the Asian ambitions.” He continued.
Asked about the team’s position after losing the chance to compete for the local league, Lee said, “the most certain thing is that the team is focusing currently on only one thing, beating Al Ahli Saudi in the Asian Tournament. Losing in football is probable, and also getting out of competition is possible. However, the great teams can handle these circumstances well especially if they know how to achieve excellence, distinction and success. Al Ain has proven itself as a great team that can achieve its continental goals.”
