Leko Tests Serbian Andreja.. The Boss Edges Croatia’s Osijek FC by 4-0

As part of the preseason away training camp, Al Ain First Football Team won Croatia’s Osijek FC 4-0 in the penultimate friendly match. The match was held at the Gornja Radjna stadium.

The Boss squad ended the first half taking the lead by 2-0 scored by the Algerian Abdul Rahman Meziane “12” and Togolese Laba Kodjoe “44”. In the second half, Jamal Marouf added the third goal “82” and Nani boosts the result to be 4-0 at “83”.

The starting lineup of the Boss in the first half included Mohamed Said Bu Senda, Ali Al Hizani, Ismail Ahmed, Mohannad Salem Al Enezi, Mohammed Fayez, Ahmed Barman, Falah Waleed, Mohsen Abdullah, Abdul Rahman Meziane, Caio Canedo and Laba Kodjo.

At the “30th” minute of the match, Evan Leko was forced to replace Mohammed Fayez by Saeed Jumaa due to injury.

Al Ain head coach tested the newly arrived player, Serb’s Andreja Radovanovic “19 years old” when he gave him the chance to play the second match to replace Mohsen Abdullah.

Leko replaced eight players at the 65th minute of the match. He replaced Ali Al Hizani, Ismail Ahmed, Mohannad Salem Al Enezi, Ahmad Barman, Falah Walid, Laba Kodjoe, Caio Canedo and Abdul Rahman Meziane by Mohammed Khalfan, Mohammed Hilal, Khalid AL Bloushi, Tsukasa Shiotani, Yahiya Nader, Jamal Marouf and Nani.

Croatia’s head coach of Osijek FC selected the following players to start the match: Marco Barricic, Tomislav Solidic, Toni Kolega, Harvogi Ilic, Ivan Dordov, Josip Kasic, Mili Todorov, Almeida Patrick, Todor Todoroski, Leon Baricic, and Robert Kosic.

The match was managed by a Slovenian Referees including Simon Glriel “Match Referee”, assisted by Thomas Krajink, “First Assistant” and Tu Enelik “Second Assistant”.
