Al Ain Head Coach Zoran Mamic said that the Garden City Club is fully ready to face Al Hilal of Saudi in ACL quarter-finals, stressing that his side is able to show the best performance in the first leg of the quarter-final clash.

Commenting on the fans confidence on him to get the best results against Hilal, Mamic, who is familiar with Hilal after managing fellow Riyadh club Al Nassr before taking the reins at Al Ain in February, said it’s a new a challenge with a different team in a totally different tournament.

I respect the opposing team, Mamic said, stressing that the team is now focused on the game against Hilal.

On his expectations for game, the Croatian said it’s very difficult to talk about the opposing team strategy as each coach has its own thought.

He noted that the team will be keen on adopting its own style of play against Al Hilal, pointing out that the Garden City Club is aware that the game will not be easy as the Saudi team will not, for sure, defend all the game.
