Al Ain Coach Zoran Mamic ha stressed the importance of clinching victory in the team encounter against Al Jazira in the second leg of the cup tournament, especially after the first leg’s tie against Hatta.

It’s certain that we will face a very strong team that clinched the title of Arabian Gulf League last season, Mamic said, stressing that the Garden City Club is determined to show the best performance in the game and clinch the three points.

As for his expectations if the rivals will include the international players in the starting line-up, Mamic said “Actually I don’t know, but we will do our best to show the best performance,” stressing that he will include the international players who are available with the aim of getting the three points.

On the expected absences, the coach said that Omar Abdulrahman will be missed for injury and Khalid Eisa as he is suspended.

Asked about the referee mistakes in the Boss game against Shabab Al Ahli, the Croatian said the referee mistakes are part of the game, however, I hope that the referee mistakes will be fewer.

“We can’t change the reality, so we will accept and deal with it,” the coach said on the suspension of the team shot stopper.

On the style of play he prefers, the coach said that changing the style of play is good, however, the most important thing is to perform well and clinch the game points.
