“We achieved a deserved win against the home team, Khorfakkan,” Sergiy Rebrov opened the post-match press conference of matchweek 22 of ADNOC Pro League against Khorfakkan Team.
He added: “It was not an easy match especially when you play against Khorfakkan at their field. I still remember our last match in the President’s Cup against Khorfakkan when we hardly scored only one goal to win the home team.”
Assessing his team’s performance, Rebrov stated: “In the first half we did not score any goals despite the chances we created. However, in the second half we could score three goals.”
“Our sights are all set at our next semifinal match of the President’s Cup against Al Wasl,” he concluded.
