Michel, Al-Ain’s defender, asserts that preparations to face Ittihad Kalba in the second-leg of ADIB Cup, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday evening, is going very well, explaining: “We are well aware that our task vs the guest team will not be easy, especially that Al-Ain competes on four tournaments, including Asia tournament, in which we claimed victory in the first-leg match yesterday vs Saudi Al-Nassr 1-0.”

He went on: We are required to prepare very well and show a triumphant spirit at all of our matches, because there are no easy tasks for Al-Ain vs all competitors, while our match vs Ittihad Kalba will be different and in a different tournament too. Furthermore, our victory 2-0 in the first leg match will, definitely, not be enough to qualify to the final.

He went on: Everyone at Al-Ain FC is working professionally in line with the strategy that has been put into play by the team’s management, starting with the coaching staff, medical staff, and everyone working under the team’s umbrella. We, as players, are required to transform those efforts into good scores via strong performance on the pitch.

Al-Ain’s defender concludes his speech saying:“Sometimes, continuity in claiming positive scores generates pressure on regular teams, but Al-Ain is a big team and accustomed to claiming strong scores, while we are always looking forwards to win and please Al-Ain fans, we also hope to claim victory in our next match vs Kalba.”
