Zob Ahan Esfahan Iranian coach, Sayed Mogtanibi Hussieny, emphasized the difficulty of the game against Al Ain, pointing out that “As far as I am concerned, I hope that my team players show skillful performance against this robust rival and win the game in order to secure a qualifying seat to the eighth-final round of AFC Champions League”.
Answering a question about the playing style he will follow against Al Ain, especially as the game will be at Zob Ahan’s home, he said “We have quite minute details about Al Ain, but our rival’s performance is the same in home and away games, it presents clever football playing, and has strong personality and style, particularly at away games. We should not forget that both teams tied in UAE last year, but Al Ain won over us here, so it is a very serious team. Commenting on a question about the solutions he adopted to overcome the threat of Omar Abdulrahman, Al Ain playmaker, he said “we well realize capabilities of all Al Ain players, we provide our players with all information that help them to control the possible threat by the rival team players. We are doing our best to win, but we need to put necessary plan in order not to receive any goal, through maintaining necessary balance across all lines”
He continued “we will seek to score a goal in the very first moment, but we should know that scoring an early goal does not mean that matters are proceedings favorably, as it may boost the rival’s ambitions. Al Ain is not such team that is easily disappointed, because it includes featured players, and follows a style of a modern group fast football play.”
Concerning the possible absences in today’s game, he said “the team will miss efforts of the Lebanese player, Ali Hamam”
