Al Ain international midfielder, Mohammed Abdul Rahman, stated that he is not that much happy with the result of his team’s match against Esteghlal Tehran. “I believe that Al Ain was so close to win the match and all the players did well. It is a fact such top clash matches reveals the robust and great charisma of the players.”

Commenting on a question on his feelings for being nominated for the title of the “Mann of the Match” along with his teammate Japan’s Shiotani, he said: “Winning such a title cannot be compared to winning the match. However, I feel good that it was granted to my dear teammate, Shiotani, because he was the best and scored the draw goal. Al Ain players always win such a title and we, as one team, feel that we all won this precious title.”

“Definitely, we enjoyed playing before more than 90 thousand fans who crowded to watch the match and their presence motivates players to do their best and show their genuine charisma,” said he in response to a question on the impact of Azadi atmosphere with massive number of fans.

As for the chances that Al Ain has to win one of the two qualifying cards to the coming stage of the AFC Champions League, he commented: “Still things are in the hands of Al Ain and we have two coming matches where we are required to win them to achieve our goals.”
