Showing a significant improvement in the team’s friendly match against Croatia’s Osijek FC and assisted in scoring Al Ain’s second goal, Al Ain midfielder Mohsen Abdullah said that the squad performed well in the second to last match.

Mohsen stated: “The team’s performance progresses well, and I believe that the away training camp is the best time to identify the weaknesses to be handled in the right way with sights set high to achieve the pre-set goals and make the Ainawi Nation happy.”

He added: “We achieved a positive result contrary to the last three matches held in Slovenia. The gains we achieved are not limited to the results. There are other aspects which the head coach looks for, including the tactics, level of concertation and physical fitness. I do believe that the team achieved the desired gains in the last friendly match.”

As for the level of adaptation and harmony among the players in the away camp, he pointed out: “All is well and as planned in the camp and things made to facilitate the mission of the team and reach the required level of harmony and adaptation. It is the spirit of the one family that dominates the camp. I wish all the best to my team and to achieve the pre-set goals at the local and continental levels.”
