The Draw of the new season of 2022-2023 of both ADNOC Pro League and ADIB Pro Cup that was held this evening at the Draw Hall at Khorfakkan resulted in the winner of double trophies to kick off its journey in defending the ADNOC Pro League title playing against Ajman in matchweek 1 of the league. Meanwhile, the Boss shall qualify for the cup’s quarterfinals, be the champion of the cup title, and play against the winner of the match between Al Wahda and Kalba

Commenting on the Draw for the new season, Abdullah Ali, Supervisor of the Al Ain First Football Team, said that the E-Draw system is ideal and approved to be used in the best leagues worldwide.

“The system keeps pace with the development concepts for considering the technical standards. Indeed, it is a credit to the Professional League Committee (PLC),” he said.

Abdullah Ali added: “We must commend the excellent organization of the e-draw and the football competitions that PLC has been supervising for the tangible development associated with the PLC work mechanism. PLC always adopts the principle of improvement at every stage in the manner that makes us proud of its achievements.”

Commenting on a question about the Draw being in favor of the Al Ain Team last season, he said: “The reality confirms that the Draw cannot lead any football team to the podium, and Al-Ain last season won the double well-deserved thanks to God first, and then the supreme care and generous support from the leadership and follow-up. The football company’s board of directors, the boldness of the team’s players, the good technical reading of the coach, the strong support of the loyal Al Ain nation, and the work system as a whole in Al Ain Club, which operates under the concept of one family.”

On the preparations of the champion of the “double” trophies for the new season, he said: “As a matter of fact, all the arrangements for the pre-season summer training camp were completed after the Al Ain Football Club Company had approved the recommendation of the Al Ain Club Pro Committee regarding the technical reports submitted by the coaching teams on the away training camp of 2022-2023. Therefore, the summer camp will be held in Germany and Austria from 19 July to 20 August 2022.

The Team Supervisor went on to say: “We assessed all the arrangements of the away camp by conducting a field visit to the camp location assigned for both first and second phases. As a result, the first phase will be held in Germany from 19-30 July 2022, while the second phase will be kicked off in Austria from 31 July to 20 August 2022.

“A technical and logistical staff conducted a field visit to ensure all the details of the necessary equipment are available in line with the recommendations of the Al Ain Pro Committee and the report of the coaching teams led by the Ukrainian, Sergiy Rebrov,” he added.

He stated that the coaching teams identified specific requirements, and based on that, the camp’s location was selected in two countries.

Abdullah Ali pointed out that such considerations and requirements include weather conditions where players can perform two training sessions daily in excellent stadiums.

“The facilities have a jacuzzi, gym and swimming pool. Additionally, arrangements for playing more than eight friendly matches during the two periods of the camp are completed. The team is scheduled to play against Kuwait FC, KSA Faiha FC, and several European and Gulf teams.

As for the dossier of foreign players and the deals expected to be concluded this summer, he said: “Firstly, I would like to commend the efforts of my brothers in the Al Ain Pro Committee who are in charge of the contracting dossier. They spare no effort to resolve this dossier on time.”

He signed off by saying that any details related to the Club’s contracts will be published directly via the Club’s official social platforms with complete transparency and be disclosed to the fans and the media.
