Al Ain Team Captain described his team’s victory over Bunyodkor as the most important achievement as it confirmed The Boss’ right to be at the top and lead Group C. He explained, “Zoran Mamic was initiative and gave the opportunity to young players. Indeed, they were up to such confidence. I am so happy to see them playing with us and I think their performance during this match deserves commendation.”

Attending the post-match press conference as the Best Man of the Match, Amouri stated that there are certain mistakes we have to fix since the coming up matches are the most important, especially the 16th Round of the AFC Champions League.

In his comment on a question regarding winning the title of “The Man of the Match”, he said, “The most important thing for me was to win the game regardless any other issues whatever. I always focus on how to assist my team.”

Replying to a question on the secret behind scoring five goals and having five assists this current competition unlike the previous editions where he used to create more assists with less goals, he said, “This might be attributed to the best utilization of the set pieces in this edition and that I had more chances to play penalty kick outs, the matter that increased my goals number. Personally, I do believe that the most important thing is always that our team wins regardless who scores.”

Worth mentioning, Al Ain is the only team in Group C who did not lose any match. The team played six matches where he won three of them and drew in the other three. Al Ain scored 14 goals and their net received 7 goals.
