In line with the Club’s strategy to adopt the best practices in football professionalism and to promote the channels of communications with all sectors inside and outside the Club, the stars of Al Ain First Football Team received the distinguished junior players of age categories in the Al Ain football academy and school.

The visit program included a tour of the facilities of Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium, the main field of the first team’s training sessions. In addition, they visited the players’ dressing room, administration offices, the Club’s clinic, and the gymnasium.

Following the end of the tour, Abdullah Ali, the First Team Supervisor, welcomed and congratulated them for receiving the Player of the Month Award in November. He availed the opportunity to urge them to keep going and work hard to achieve their goals and stick to the administrative and coaching teams’ directives, in addition to the advice provided by the medical staff and nutrition consultants at the Club. He pointed out that they would achieve their big aspirations in their football career.

A number of the first team’s stars were keen to accompany the football school and academy players to participate in a light training session at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium. The Ukrainian head coach Sergey Rebrov was eager to watch the training session and expressed his pleasure to see the Club’s sons who represent the team’s future in the coming years. He took group memorial photos by the end of the unique visit.

The Supervisor of Al Ain First Football Team, Abdullah Ali, emphasized: “Indeed, hosting the outstanding players of the football school and the academy is consistent with the commitment of the first and reserve teams to the Club’s vision, strategic plans, and institutional values. Moreover, they all are designed to serve the city’s community in general and contribute to stimulating the football talents of the Club to develop the indicators of their performance in the proper manner.

He added: “The initiative received a remarkable interaction from the first football team players, who experienced playing in various age groups teams when their aspirations ambitions were always to be promoted and paly for the first team.”

“Today, we are keen to give the academically outstanding and those who show significant progress in the societal, technical, and other aspects the opportunity to learn about the working mechanism and the systems adopted in the football team sector. They also had an invaluable chance to meet the stars and the head coach of the first football team. We also opened the door for discussion before honoring them for their excellence, hoping that they will continue exerting hard efforts to achieve their ambitions in their football career,” he said.

The Al Ain First Team Supervisor expressed his deep appreciation for the critical role played by the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club, chaired by Dr. Matar Al Darmaki.

He stressed: “The BoD directives are always to furnish all grounds of support to all sectors of the football company in pursuit of the club’s goals, by creating a stimulating work environment for all in the company in the manner that leads us to keep pace with the signs of development and reach the highest indicators of success.”

He hailed the efforts exerted by the football school and academy sectors, saying that: “There are unblemished criteria that the sector adopts to determine the work performance index dedicated for all its members, namely the players, technical, administrative and medical teams.”

He also emphasized that the assessment mechanism in place considers various approaches to unique practices meant to further trigger the players in terms of behavior, social, academic and technical, and many other aspects.

Abdullah Ali pointed out that work in the football school and academy sector is based on crystal-clear strategic plans designed to ensure the development of players’ performance of age categories.

“This is done per the latest international development approaches via adopting an ideal mechanism of direct communication between the technical and administrative teams in the sectors of the first and reserved teams and football school and academy. This would definitely contribute to achieving the aspirations of our big Club and is consistent with its vision,” he said.

On his part, Abdullah Khoury, General Supervisor of the Al Ain Football School and Academy Sector, said that the players enjoyed the positive atmosphere they observed during their tour of the first team main training field.

He hailed how they were received by the first team supervisor, head coach, and “Boss” stars and stressed that such acts are among the positive indicators that embody the football company’s strategy in promoting effective communication channels among all the sectors.

Al Khoury pointed out that such initiatives serve the best interests of the Club and “the initiative of the first and reserved teams is not unusual. Many gains that the “youngsters” have achieved out of that memorable visit, which will certainly leave in their minds a good impact, especially after they expressed their great pleasure to be present with the team’s stars and took part in the training session of the first team.”

Abdullah Al Khoury signed off by wishing all the best for the Club to achieve its desired aspirations and big goals.
