Al Ain power multiplies dozen times at HBZS

We will set aside the Asian file “temporarily” and focus on the match against Ajman

Mohammed Obaid Hammad, member of the Steering Committee of Al Ain Football Club Affairs Management and the Supervisor of Al Ain First Team and the Reserve Team, congratulated Al Ain players and fans on the marvelous start of the team in the Asian Championship, emphasizing that: “Everyone realized the importance of the win at the beginning of the Asian journey, regardless of calculations of home and away matches because the team that aims to qualify from the group stage must win every game by demonstrating a strong passion, fighting spirit, and respecting the ambitions of the opponents.”

He continued that undoubtedly the team returned with a significant victory from Tashkent against a strong team like Pakhtakor. “We’re well aware that that Al Ain did not deliver its best performance against Pakhtakor, but we have absolute confidence that our team will perform better. However, the players of the team demonstrated a sense of commitment, discipline, seriousness, and a strong passion to win the three points, driven by their sincere sense of accountability in their national mission, and this is not surprising from Al Ain players. I believe that winning the first Asian match enhances their motivation to continue on their victorious path and achieve their desired targets in the Asian Championship”, he stated.

Commenting on a question about Al Ain chances to qualify, he said: “It is too early to talk about qualification after the first match in the Asian rally, but Al Ain took an important step towards its target with today’s win. The answer to this question should be delayed till the end of the group stage, for sure. However, our confidence in the team always remains high, particularly when we face challenges at home and amidst its loyal fans, because Al Ain strength multiplies dozens of times at HBZS, with the strong support of Al Ain loyal fans.”

Regarding the preparations for the second round of the group stage in the Asian Championship scheduled to be held at HBZS against Ahal, Turkmenistan, he said: “our strategy is definite, and we always focus on each match independently as reality requires us to set aside the Asian file “temporarily” and think about the upcoming challenge against Ajman in ADNOC Pro League at HBZS.”
