In the pre-match press conference of the match of Round 32 of Arab Club Champions Cup held in conference hall attached to Maksimir Stadium, Al Ain’s midfielder, Rayan Yaslam, underlined the importance of his team’s coming match and that players have to do their best despite the current difficulties. He stated: “The two coming matches are to be held in the middle of the team’s preseason training camp. This simply means we are not ready to play such big matches; however, we will spare no efforts to defend the club’s logo and the UAE football sector”.

“We do respect the ambitions of the opposing team but will play the match with high morals striving to achieve a positive result. The head coach has already set up his technical plans and taken all field arrangements to confront our opponent. All we need is the good luck,” added he.

As for playing against an Arab-African team, he said: “We are used to playing against Asian teams in official competitions, but Al Ain is always accustomed to facing big challenges. We will never ever spare any effort to exhibit our genuine charisma in the field and will do our best to win the match.”

He concluded by commenting on the question on the decision to join UAE National Team: “Definitely, we have no choice and as everybody knows it is an honor to represent our country for we look at it as a national mission. We are ready to go whenever it is related to defend the colors and logo of our national team and our club.”
