Accepting an invitation extended by H.E. Ghanem Mubarak Al Hajeri, Chairman of Al Ain Football Club Company, H.E. Engineer Khalid Abdul Aziz, Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, attended the matchweek15 of the Arabian Gulf League held on Saturday at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium between Al Ain and Ajman where Al Ain thrashed the visitors by 7-0.

During the two team’s break, H.E. Ghanem Mubarak Al Hajeri and H.E. Engineer Khalid Abdul Aziz exchanged the memorial shields in the presence of Ahmed Humaid Al Mazroui, Vice Chairman of Al Ain Football Club Company, Sultan Rashid, Board of Directors and Sports Director, and the delegation accompanying H.H. the Minister including Dr. Jihad Amer, Vice President of the Arab Union for Leadership Development and Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, Mohammed Al Kurdi, Director of the Minister’s Technical Office for Sports Affairs, Mohammed Bahjat, Minister’s Office Media Officer and Shadi Abbas, Minister’s Office Protocol Officer.

H.E. the Minister of Youth and Sports availed the opportunity to congratulate Al Ain by their thrilling victory over Ajman and topping the standing table of the Arabian Gulf League. He extended his deepest appreciation for H.E. Ghanem Mubarak Al Hajeri for his highly appreciated invitation to attend the match and praised Al Ain Club’s professionalism in handling sports and administrative affairs while wishing all the best for the team to achieve their desired ambition in the current season.

H.E. the Minister also expressed his sincere wishes of success for Egypt’s Hussein El Shahat emphasizing that all Egyptian players are no more than ambassadors of the Egyptian football in the Gulf region and all over the world. “We wish all of them the best of luck and to exhibit an honorable and genuine performance and to meritoriously contribute in realizing their teams’ aspirations,” said he.

H.E. Engineer Khalid Abdul Aziz hailed Hussein El Shahat’s performance during the match and the hat-trick he scored against Ajman.

On his part, H.E. Al Hajeri welcomed the Youth and Sports Minister at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium and the accompanying delegation stressing the importance of the visit that had deep positive impact on everyone, especially the newly professional comer, Hussein El Shahat.
