Relying heavily on hardcore fans, Al Enezi pledges to block Al Wahda shots

The ‘international’ defender of Al Ain FC and UAE National Team, Mohannad Salem Al Enezi, confirmed that they were intent on snatching 3 points from Al Wahda’s own grounds though the clash would not be easy to win because Al Wahda, like other teams, consider their match against Al Ain FC as the season’s most serious challenge.

He pointed out that after successfully passing over the most difficult hurdles of Al Dhafra and Al Wasl, his team considers each game from now on as a turning point on its way to the AGL title; “It’s the season of harvest to us; therefore, we have to prevent Al Wahda strikers from finding their way to our zone in order not to conceive any goal,” he stressed.

He made it clear that collecting 3 points is their target and that they would do their best to keep a clean sheet.

He highly valued their rivals of Al Wahda though they can’t rely just on one player like Tagliabué; “We’ll face a fully integrated team rather than one or two excellent players. In all cases, we won’t allow Tagliabué or any other player to score against us,” he reiterated.

“We rely heavily on support from our fans hoping they will swarm Al Nahyan Stadium. We promise them to play our best in order to reap the satisfying result.” He concluded.
