I Am Fully Confident that Fans Will Be Behind the Squad at Home and Away Fields.. Sergiy Rebrov: We Must Show Our Genuine Character and Play with High Concentration and Seriously
“Our match against Shabab Al Ahli is completely different and will be against a different opponent. I am sure they analyzed the Al Ain squad’s performance, but, again, we must focus on our affairs in all our matches,” Sergiy Rebrov opened the pre-match media conference held this evening and dedicated to matchweek 8 of ADNOC Pro League against Shabab Al Ahli Team.
Meanwhile, the head coach of the Al Ain Team stressed: “We did analyze the opponent’s style of playing and will explain the details to the players. However, if we do not show our genuine level of playing on the pitch, we will have no chance of winning the home team.”
Ahead of the match scheduled to be held on Saturday 29th October 2022 at 08:00 p.m., Rebrov commended the players’ performance in the last game and hoped that winning Al Nasr Team gave the players the required level of self-confidence.
“The second half was important for me in that match and how the players reacted after conceding the draw goal. Despite being unhappy with their performance in the first half, I am so happy with their reaction. Therefore, we must prepare ourselves well and be serious in that match. Indeed, after winning Al Nasr Team, I hope all the players will enjoy the required confidence level,” he said.
He commented on Shabab Al Ahli’s performance level: “I still remember in our last game against Shabab Al Ahli was so tough. We took the lead and created many chances, but we were held to a 1-1 draw. It was a difficult match, and I am sure Saturday’s game will be the same. ”

As for the players expected to miss the coming clash match: “Certain players are suffering from moderate injuries, but all are fit and in form for the coming match.
