Sergiy Rebrov: So Proud by the Boss Players Performance
We took the lead in the first half and played the second half with a strong desire to add more goals, Ukraine’s Sergiy Rebrov stated in the post-match press conference of matchweek 7 of ADNOC Pro League held against Al Wasl at Za’beel Stadium.
He added that Al Wasl has significant players and that he is so proud of his squad’s performance.
Responding to a question on the reasons behind Al Ain players’ retreat to the back area, he said: “When you finish the first half taking the lead, it is normal to read your opponent well with the kickoff of the second half as for sure they will play to reduce the gap. This pushed us all to handle the situation and deal with it with full concentration at the level of all lines.”
