Shin Man Gil: the successful organization of the finals obliged the AFC to focus on “The Boss”
Shin Man Gil, Executive Director AFC Competitions Division, who unveiled the AFC Champions League draw yesterday in Kuala Lampur, said that the AFC made sure they featured footage of Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, the best football stadium in the world, which is a true embodiment of luxury, in the video promo put on view during the draw ceremony.
“It’s no secret that Al Ain FC did a splendid job in organizing the most marvelous finals for the AFC Champions League. We haven’t seen anything that attractive, unique and distinctive in the last 9 years, and thus we made sure we featured footage from the games played in Hazza bin Zayed Stadium during the workshop for all the clubs competing for the AFC championship and the AFC Cup. We have witnessed professional and unique organization work and wanted to emphasize that Al Ain Club is a great example for all clubs.” He said.
“Everything we experienced in Al Ain was absolutely thrilling, including the cooperation, organization, and the provision of everything required for the team’s success, and I believe everything was excellent for Al Ain Club except for the end result of the Champions League finals.” He added.
