We Respect All Competitors’ Aspirations Regardless of Their Spot in the Standing Table

The team must win all matches, and we do respect all competitors’ aspirations regardless of their place on the standing stable of the league, Soufian Rahimi stated in the pre-match conference dedicated for away matchweek 15 of ADNOC Pro League against Emirates.

He went on to say that training sessions went as planned and the team enjoys good positive moments and that they know what they are meant to do as it would not be an easy match while stressing that there is nothing called an easy match in the football game.

Rahimi also stressed that the squad should enjoy the highest concentration levels and not commit mistakes to ensure leaving back home with three points in hand. He also pointed out that it is essential to winning the home team to keep the 6-point gap from the nearest competitor.

Responding to a question on the impact of his absence on the team’s results, he said: “Al Ain is a big team and never affected by the absence of any player. We missed several key payers during the first half of the league, including me, when I was selected to join my national team. Indeed, I feel proud as any other player in the world when playing for your national team. Then, I rejoined the squad, and I hope that I will always be of an added value to the Boss squad and contribute along with my teammates to win and achieve the best result.”

Rahimi addressed a message to the Board of Directors of Al Ain Club, coaching teams, his teammates, and the loyal fans, saying: “I would like to thank them all as I never felt I am away from home since I arrived in UAE considering the descent and professional way of interacting with me and not to forget their hospitality and kindness.”

He signed off by promising everyone that he would spare no effort to show his fighting spirit and be up to their expectation and trust. He also said that he would work hard to draw a smile on the face of all the Ainawi Nation and be crowned with the 14th title of the league.
