“We have a busy schedule at present, and we are focusing on the players’ recovery currently and joining rehabilitation programs after the recent match,” Al Ain First Football Team, Sergiy Rebrov opened the pre-match press conference dedicated for the second leg match of the Pro League Cup against Al Jazira.
He added: “The most important thing is the recovery of the players who played recent matches, and as for the bench players, they are training well yesterday and today. All the squad understands how important the coming match is, and I hope to see the fans behind the team to support us.”
He commented on the draw result of the first leg match by stressing that “despite the draw result in the lase away match against Al Jazira and having the advantage over the guest team, still we need to perform well and seriously and spare no effort to win the opponent to qualify to the final match.”
Responding to a question on whether the team is missing any key player next match, he said: “We do not have absent players. We gave all the players the chance to play in all competitions. As for the injured players, Khaled Al Blooshi played in the recent match played by the Reserved Team. We will assess his conditions and the level of his injury improvement considering that he did not play for a long time with the team.”
