Stressed How Important to Win Ajman.. Erik: We Must Do Our Best in the Remaining Matches
Al Ain resident player, Brazil’s Erik de Mendes, emphasized the importance of the team’s coming match against Ajman.
“We must do our best in matchweek 22 by dominating the match and positively possess the ball while boosting up our level of concentration. We have to exhibit our aggressiveness as of the kickoff whistle until the match’s last minute to snatch the match’s three points. It is the only option we have to move forward on the standing table,” Erik stated in the pre-match press conference held on Friday 19th March 2021.
As for Ajman’s recent performance, Erik commented: “Ajman is progressing well in their recent matches. However, our focus is channeled only to be ready for the opponent regardless of their position on the standing table.”
He pointed out that the criterion adopted to compare between any two teams is based on their actual performance on the pitch, and “this is why we have to show our fighting spirit to win the home team.”
