Al Ain Plays Against KSA Al Ra’ed Tonight

Abdullah Ali, Al Ain Team Supervisor, stressed that the program of the away training camp is progressing properly.

He explained: “The team achieved the desired gains by playing against Spain’s Real Murcia held yesterday at the training football field. Additionally, all arrangements are done to play against KSA Al Ra’ed tonight considering implementing the precautionary measures in place.”

In response to a question on the team’s performance against Murcia held yesterday, he commented: “Friendly matches are part of the away training program. The coaching team handles technical and physical aspects to assess the players’ performance and capacities to act accordingly. Indeed, the general level is satisfactory, and the head coach gave the opportunity for 22 players in the last match. Tunisian Meriah made his debut in that match, as well as Caio Canedo, who rejoined the team after a short break following the end of the training camp of the UAE National Football Team.”

As for his evaluation of the training camp in Spain, he stressed that away camp is a crucial phase to prepare the team for the new season.

“The coaching team set an intensive training program that includes two or three training sessions per day. The aim is to be in form ahead of kicking off the new season,” he said.

He emphasized that the actual assessment of the team’s performance should not be made during the season but by the end of the season.
Abdullah Ali stated: “We should assess the team’s achievements and reaping the harvest by the end of the perpetration period and playing all the competitions. all goals are pre-set prior to kicking off the away camp and all set to regain the normal position of the Boss.”
