Croatia’s Head Coach of Al Ain First Football Team, Zoran Mamic, has confirmed that his team will miss a number of players in the coming match against Hatta, including Omar Abdul Rahman, Khalid Issa and Mohamed Ahmed due to accumulated yellow cards, besides Mohannad Salim Al Enezi following receiving a red card last match against AL Wasl. He further stated: “I have full trust in the players that I will select to compensate gaps in positions, and we are required to exhibit our true fighting spirit along with high focus. No room for mistakes in all our next matches.”

“Certainly, our match against Hatta in the Arabian Gulf League is very important and the opposing team is good and has excellent players especially in the front line. Our mission will not be easy; therefore, we will do our best in order to achieve the desired result,” added he.

Responding to a question on losing points when playing at home, he said: “Indeed, in any match we play we aim to snatch the three points. Our main goal in all home and away matches is to win.” He further explained: “Statistically, in all our home matches we play better, but sometimes things like that happen in football because each match is different from the other and every competitor has his own style and personality in playing football. However, I repeat that mistakes are forbidden in all our next matches.”

“There is no easy game for us in the next stage and there is no difference for us in playing at home or away. I confirm here that starting from the match against Hatta you will see a different performance compared to our previous matches,” he said.

“Football does not recognize the language of expectations and what we know well is that we are required to win in all our next confrontations. However, if we speak in the language of wishes, I wish nothing but the three points whether in the hard or easy way or even by luck. But it is real that we have a very difficult match, and we have the ability and potentials to prevail at the expense of any competitor,” stated he.

Zoran concluded the press conference by saying: “We are in deep need for the fans’ support during the coming matches to achieve the desired goals in all competitions at both local and continental levels.
