Croatia’s Head Coach of Al Ain First Football Team Zoran Mamic stressed in the pre-match press conference dedicated for Al Ain –Al Jazeera match that it is Al Ain’s fate to face big challenges in the Arabian Gulf League.

“In the next game against Al Jazeera, Al Ain will miss Brazil’s Douglas Dyanfres for his mother’s death, Japan’s Shiotani Tsukasa and Mohammed Abdul Rahman for injury,” said he. “Additionally, the “international” players have done great job and made lots of efforts during their participation with the national teams, such as Omar Abdul Rahman, Amer Abdulrahman and Sweden’s Marcus Berg and we will enroll the team’s players in fatigue recovery programs.”

Zoran stressed the importance of winning the top draw clash against the defending champs scheduled to be held next Saturday who succeeded in the last version of AGL to win Al Ain in the first and second leg matches.

“We have achieved a great victory in the last game, but for us it is something of the past and the team is required to go on in achieving victories and snatching the three points out of each match, particularly when we are playing on our field and among our fans,” added he.

Commenting on a question if there will be any negative impact on the team during the league break, he pointed out: “I believe both teams will be affected by the teams during the international break, especially Al Jazeera has a number of international players in their squad. So, we do not think about it as much as we have to focus on preparing the the team well enough to win our opponent.”

“Shiotani is certainly an excellent player, but his absence has become a reality and cannot be changed, so we should not think about missing him in the pitch as much as we have to focus on finding the right substitute,” responding on a question on the impact of Shiotani’s absence. He added: “We have full confidence in players selected to defend the logo of the “Boss” in the coming match.”

On the level of Barman’s readiness to play the coming match, he said: “We will determine the player’s situation and readiness to play the next game during the coming two training sessions scheduled prior Saturday’s clash. Also, we will assess the “international” players’ level to participate in the game, especially Amer Abdul Rahman who played 180 minutes with the national team during the recent two friendly matches.”
