Stressing the importance of winning the Emirates Team.. Berg: Al Ain Still Has Seven Final League Games
Sweden’s international striker of Al Ain FC Marcus Berg emphasized that his team still has seven final matched prior concluding the Arabian Gulf. He underlined: “Al Ain’s victor over Ajman is something of the past now and our match against the Emirates team tonight is an important challenge for us. I am pretty sure it will not an easy one and we are to do our best to snatch the three points.”
Commenting on a question whether the competition is limited exclusively between Al Ain and Al Wahda, he said: “I do not think so because the title race is so far between three teams: Al Ain, Al Wahda and Al Wasl. Therefore, we will fight to maintain the top spot. We look at all our league matches in the coming stages as finals.”
“It is a fact that Al Wasl and Al Wahda will not give up early; on the contrary, they both will strive to catch up with Al Ain,” added he. He pointed out: “I think the UAE league is very strong and teams not competing for top positions in the standing table can cause problems for the competing teams. However, Al Ain performance has been improving significantly and this was so clear during the recent clash against Ajman. Based on this, we all required to push ourselves to the limit during the coming stages.”
