There have been exceptional coaches who worked with Al Ain throughout history

Al Ain Dutch coach Alfred Schroeder emphasized that he was keen to analyze the Turkmen Ahal team properly as a strong and systematic team with an organized playing style. However, he expressed high confidence in his team’s readiness for tomorrow’s confrontation against our opponent in Group A of the AFC Champions League.

Commenting on a question about his team’s strong start this season and whether he believes if Al Ain will be in the lead, he replied, “Actually, I started my journey with Al Ain since three months and seek to win all matches with my strong team with an excellent squad and each match represents a major challenge for all of us and we are determined to prepare for each match individually. Actually, we win 7 matches till now, but there is no guarantees in tomorrow’s match”.

Whether he believes that comprehensive football is the password to his team’s superiority over the opponents from the beginning of the season until now, he said: “I don’t think in the past and always look forward to the future. Of course, winning the previous seven matches is good, but I believe the previous coaches of Al Ain were highly skilled and achieved significant successes in the AFC Champions League and other several triumphs.”

Replying to a question about the number of fans the team needs for tomorrow’s match, he said: “I wish to see a fully-packedstadium, aiming to celebrate with the Ainawi fans as we did at Al Sharjah Stadium.
