Mohammed Obaid Hammad, member of the Steering Committee of Al Ain Football Club Affairs Management, the Supervisor of Al Ain First Team and the Reserve Team and head of The Boss “Al Zaeem” delegation to Turkmenistan, said: “His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Affairs of Al Ain Football Club Company, was keen to congratulate the players and all members of Al Ain delegation immediately after the match at Ashgabat Stadium through a phone call through which he praised the performance that led the team to this positive result, which strengthened everyone’s feeling of joy and happiness and boosted their morale.”
Hammad stated that the team’s identity, derived from Al Ainbrand, its rich football history, and the players’ sense of responsibility in defending Al Ain badge and representing the UAE in the AFC Champions League, enabled Al Ain to make an impressive appearance and return from Turkmenistan with a strong result, despite the significant numerical shortage in the squad.
“I’d also like to praise the role played by the coaching staff led by the Argentine coach Hernan Crespo and the medical staff in preparing the players for the upcoming challenges as they started the preparation programs practically after the Ahal, Turkmenistan match through recovery programs, due to the team’s strong performance on the artificial turf of Ashgabat Stadium. According to the preparatory program for the upcoming period, Al Ain will continue its training program this evening immediately because there is no time forrest during the current period,” he continued.
