We have no Absences in the Upcoming Match… we will assess the Readiness of the International Players

Alfred Schreuder, the Dutch coach of Al-Ain, confirmed that the preparations for their match against Al-Nasr are proceeding according to the pre-approved training programs for this upcoming match. He mentioned that they have several exceptional players along with the international players. Also, they will assess the readiness of the players who will be selected for the match.

Replying on a question on his insights about facing Al-Nasr in the cup match after their league match, Schreuder said, “I talked with the players before the previous league match about the strong opponent that has notable elements, especially in the midfield and attack. They played a strong game against us, but we need to focus on what we should do, as we made several mistakes in our previous match, and we should have converted the chances we had in more than five or six occasions into goals. This was the only match in which we didn’t score any goals.”

Regarding the impact of the visit of H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the BoD of Al-Ain Sports and Cultural Club, Chairman of the Executive Committee, and Chairman of the Management Affairs Committee of Al-Ain Football Club, on the players, Schreudersaid, “Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit had a positive impact on the spirits of all team members, including players, coaching and management staff, medical staff, and everyone associated with the club. I previously mentioned that we are delighted with this visit, especially since I had the honor of communicating with him on multiple occasions. It’s wonderful that Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan is always a supporter and advocate for the club, and he is also proud of all team members.”

Regarding the expected absences from the lineup in the upcoming match, Schreuder said, “We don’t have any absences at the moment, and we will see the readiness of the international players after their return to the team. Those who will play 90 minutes today or tomorrow will certainly not participate in the match against Al-Nasr.”

Schreuder concluded his remarks during the pre-match press conference for their match against Al-Nasr by saying, “We always look forward to the abundant support of the Al-Ain fans. Moments ago, I affirmed in a television interview that the Al-Ain fans are constant supporters and advocates for the team. We have great confidence in their support provided tothe team in all challenges.
