The gains realized by the Boss out of the training camp were considerable and numerous, Abdullah Ali, Al Ain First Football Team Supervisor, commenting on the team’s behind doors training camp kicked off in Dubai.

He pointed out that the team concludes the training camp in the following day evening time by a simple training lesson in the gymnasium hall at the team’s residence in Dubai. He added that at night, the team will play against the KSA’s Al Ittihad Club in a second friendly match as planned.

On December 1st, the “Boss” won 3-2 in the first friendly match against Al Dhaid, Ali added.

The team’s gains from the camp, according to Ali, included working on some coaching and physical points; especially after the long pause the team has taken, in addition to boosting the team’s spirit and ensuring its readiness through intensive training.

Also the camp ensured that those who were injured have gained their strength and power through the special rehabilitation system, committing to the camp’s programs and diets, according to Ali.

For his part, Coach Sergiy Rebrov’s gave a chance for various players of Al-Ain Reserved Team and Academy, where he followed up on the U-21 matches and monitoring the matches played by the U-17 and U-19 teams in a bid to engage them in the First Team’s atmosphere.

The coach also would determine those players’ level of performance and was keen to include them in the two friendlies held behind doors, Ali added.

“That is why I believe the gains were substantial and numerous” Ali added.

Regarding the friendly match against the KSA’s Al Ittihad Club, Ali added “Sergiy Rebrov is for sure a coach who prefers strong matches; especially at the end of the camps where he could evaluate some physical and coaching points which he kept working on during the behind doors camp; twice day and night every day. I wish that both teams bring out the aspired-for gains during the friendly match”.

Ali also lauded the players’ commitment to the camp’s program and system, extending his regards to the efforts exerted by the team’s coaching, medical and logistical support members.
