The AFC Suspends Caio and Al Dosari.. Al Ain and Al Hilal Reveals their Sport Kits in the Qualifying Meeting
The qualifying meeting of Al Ain game against Al Hilal of Saudi in the first leg of Group C of the AFC Champions League was on Monday 4th March 2019 at the meeting hall of Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium. The match is scheduled to be held at Hazza bn Zayed Stadium at 19:20 on Tuesday 5th March 2019. Noteworthy, Group C includes Al Ain, Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, Iran’s Esteghlal and Al Duhail.
The meeting was chaired by Thai Bairayt Tanbury, Match Commissioner in the presence of Iraq’s Alaa Abdul Qader, Referee’s Assessor, and representatives of the two clubs. The delegation of Al Ain was headed by Mattar Obeid Al Dhaheri “Al Sahbani”, Team Manager, Issam Abdullah, Team Administrative Officer, in addition to the Media Coordinator and Team Secretary. Meanwhile, Al Hilal delegation was headed by Bader Al Qassim, Team Manager, Abdulaziz Al Thunayan, Media Coordinator, Salah Al-Marzouki, the Local Coordinator as representative of the KSAFA, Mohammed Al Shekaili, Media Coordinator.
The meeting was also attended by the representative of the Lagardère Group, responsible for marketing operations of the AFC Champions League, as well as the match organizers.
The attendees reviewed all the details of the top clash confrontation and the match commissioner confirmed during the presentations delivered by to the teams that Salem Al Dosari of Al Hilal and Caio Lucas of Al Ain are suspended by a decision made by the AFC due to accumulated yellow cards.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Matar Obaid Al Dhahiri revealed the sport kit of Al Ain players who will be wearing full white kit with purple strips. As for Al Hilal players, they will be wearing the full blue kit.
