The AFC Warns FFIRI of Committing Any Violations Against Al Ain

In an official statement published by the widespread Iranian newspaper “Wazir Iran”, the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) warned the fans of Esteghlal Tehran FC from committing any overt misdeeds or offences from the stands prior, during and after their team’s match against Al Ain. FFIRI issued this statement following receiving a stern warning by the AFC with regards to committing any hooliganism acts that might take place on the side-lines of the match and that the AFC representatives would monitor such acts. If such acts take place, the AFC will impose penalties against FFIRI including depriving FFIRI from participating in official competitions for two seasons.

Esteghlal Tehran reacted to this statement and warning by also gave notice to all its fans published in all Iranian newspapers warning them for the consequences of assaulting members of Al Ain FC upon their arrival, during after the end of the match and while leaving the Azadi Stadium for the extreme levels of monitoring imposed by the AFC during the match.

In its statement, Esteghlal Tehran FC stated that the prime challenge for everyone in the stands of the stadium would be to be self-restraint and to play their role in supporting and cheering their team faultlessly during the match.

Noteworthy, The AFC has recently assigned a security official to monitor the match and deliver a security report hand in hand with Match Commissioner.
