The Boss and Ajman Share Spoils in Matchweek 1 of ADNOC Pro League

In matchweek 1 of ADNOC Pro League, the Boss squad were held at a 1-1 draw against Ajman on Friday 2 September 2022 at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium.

Al Ain took the lead in the first half after Erik Jorgens who sent the ball into the back of the net with an emphatic finish at 6th minute of the match. Ajman leveled the scoring when Bahraini Ali Madan sent a powerful shot into the net at 60th minute of the match.

Laba Kodjo missed scoring the lead goal as he did not score from the penalty point in the added-up time.

By this result, both teams got only one point in the beginning of their journey in the new season.
