Al Ain team won Al Dhafra 5-2 in the match took place on Thursday evening at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in the 22nd round of the Arabian Gulf Football League.
Al Ain ended the first half of the match with a 3-1 win. The Boss’s goals were scored by Nasser Al-Shamrani 12″ and 31″, Ahmed Berman 25″, Ibrahim Diaky 58″ and Yousef Ahmed Mousa 73″. Meanwhile, Al-Dhafra’s scored by Yassin Al-Salhi from the penalty spot 17″ and Hammad Raqi’ Al Ahbabi 86″.
With this victory, Al Ain raises its points to 46 and move forward to be in the third place, while Al Dhafra has 29 points in the seventh place.
High Pressure
Al-Ain started the match against Al Dhafra pressing high until the international Saudi player, Nasser Al Shamrani, managed to translate his team’s preference after 12″ with a superb goal taking advantage of the cross ball sent by the Boss’s playmaker, Omar Abdul Rahman. Al Shamrani controlled the ball professionally inside the box and sent it to Al Dhafra net announcing his team’s superiority in this confrontation.
Al Dhafra Returns
The visitors were able to return quickly to the starting point when the referee granted Al Dhafra a penalty kick 17″. Yassin Al Salhi successfully scored against Khaled Issa turning the result to draw after five minutes from Al Ain’s lead goal.
The Boss’s Strong Desire to Win
Al Ain expressed a strong desire to be in the lead again and they did it. The midfielder Ahmed Berman managed to bring his team back to the front with a powerful, ground-fired rocket from the edge of the area to announce Al Ain’s second goal at 25″.
It took Nasser Al Shamrani six minutes to add his second and third personal goal in the game after receiving a fantastic cross from the left side sent by Khalid Abdul Rahman. Naser controlled it with high confidence before turning around and sending a tricky shot and settled in the net to announce a great goal for Al Ain. The first half of the game ended with a 3-1 victory over the guests.
AL AIN TEAM’S POWER
The second half scenario did not differ from the first; Al Ain dominated the game completely. Substitute, Ibrahim Diaky added Al Ain’s fourth goal in this confrontation when he waited for a perfect cross ball sent by Khalid Abdul Rahman from the left side. Diaky received it and before it touched the ground sending it directly to the nets of Western Region Knights at 58″.
Yousef Ahmed Mousa was able to pay tribute to his Coach, Zoran Mamic, who gave him the trust he deserves in the match and replaced him with Nasser Al Shamrani. He was able to score the fifth goal at 73″.
Prior four minutes of the referee whistle, Dhafra striker Hamad Raqi’ Al Ahbabi narrowed the gap by scoring his team’s second goal at 86″ and the match ended by Al Ain defeated Al Dhafra 5-2.
