Al Ain Argentinian coach, Hernan Crespo, expressed his prideand glory in placing his team in the round of 16 of the Asianstrongest tournament for champions, emphasizing that: “We have a great opportunity to qualify for the quarter-finals after several years to revive the club’s great history, in light of the current situation, the high morale, and the positive environment prevailing among the team due to the successive victories and we want to move forward towards achieving our goals.”

Commenting on a question about playing four fateful matches in four different tournaments within a short period, he said: “When you belong to a big club, you must confront all challenges and avoid any justifications due the pressurized schedule. We have done our best and we will move forward towards achieving our targets. This is the actual schedule, and we are ready to deal with it, especially since we are playing in our stadium and among our fans.”

Responding to a question about how difficult it was for him and his players to deal with the pressurized schedule, he said: “We can control this situation if we want to achieve our targets and make our fans happy, and as I mentioned to you, this is the fate of the big clubs.”

Regarding the limited options imposed by the AFC Champions League regulation, he said: “We respect the regulations and cannot change them. All of my players deserve to be on the teamsquad, and I have no problem with the regulation.”
