“Our preparations for the coming two matches of the Gulf Cup coincides with the FIFA days where we are missing 50% of the players,” Zoran Mamic stated in the match pre-conference dedicated for his team’s match against Al Jazira in matchweek 3 of the Arabian Gulf Cup. He added that the team will be missing 50% of the players as 6 international players have already joined the UAE National Team and other 3 players who joined the UAE Olympic National Team, along with El Shahat and Marcus Berg.
He added: “Equally, the opponent is missing also a number of their international players. Based on these facts, we will prepare the team in the right manner. Indeed, it is a fact that the confrontations of Al Ain and Al Jazira are always characterized by being tough and fervent. We will do our best to perform well to achieve the desired result.”
On the injury of Al Ain midfielder, Rayyan Yaslam, he stated: “Rayan suffered from an injury in his thigh muscle and he has been receiving medical treatment to speed up his recovery. The medical team prepares him for the coming scheduled matches of the Arabian Gulf League.”
