The Croatian Head Coach of Al Ain FC, Zoran Mamic, said that we are fully aware of our goal when we play against Uzbekistan’s FC Bunyodkor within the final round of Group 3 matches at this stage of AFC Champions League, pointing out: “We have a strong desire to pursue our positive results in the Asian tournament, and our major goal is to win the three points in order to be on top of Group 3.”

In reply to a question about the reason underlying the poor results of the team on its stadium and the secret behind its qualifying in an away game, he said: “I do not think we lost on our stadium in the continental tournament; rather, our best matches in the continental tournament this season were the games against Zob Ahan FC and Saudi Al Ahli FC on or stadium, and, in football, we sometimes find a team that is showing the highest performance, but it needs success factor.”

“What matters us most is that our team shows honorable performance with full concentration, avoidance of errors and taking advantage of the available chances in front of the goal, hoping that we manage to turn these efforts into a success over the forthcoming period.” He added.

Zoran added: “We are fully aware that FC Bunyodkor is a distinguished team, and the evidence for this is that it won the last game against Saudi Al Ahly FC. He went on saying that he does not think about the results of other games; but rather, he is focusing on his team and how to get it well prepared to achieve win in order to end this stage in the lead. ”

The Croatian Coach pointed out that he is going to pursue his policy for granting a number of young players the chance to prove their eligibility and confirm their worthiness to wear the first team’s t-shirt, expressing his pleasure for the distinguished appearance of all young players who were given the chance over the past period, whishing them success as the future of Al Ain FC.

Zoran asserted that Al Ain FC is going to lose the efforts of the defense player Ismael Ahmed and midfielder Ahmed Parman due to suspension on account of receiving the second yellow card. The Croatian coach refused to name the team he prefers to meet in the round of 16, but he emphasized that all teams that are qualified in the next stage of the tournament are strong ones, saying: It is important to show robust performance against any team which meets Al Ain and seek to get a win over it to be qualified to the next stage of the continental tournament.
