We Miss Key Players Although It Is Not The FIFA Days.. Sergiy Rebrov: We Must Win All Matches and All Set for All Confrontations
The Ukraine’s head coach of Al Ain Team stated that the Boss squad will miss key players in the team’s starting lineup which is, in his point of view, is not normal.
In the pre-match press conference dedicated for the second leg of the PLC Pro Cup against the Emirates FC, he expressed his discontent that “we are not in the FIFA days and the players joined the UAE Olympic Football Team although we have critical matches in Pro Cup and League.”
He added: “I do not seek to find excuses or just express my objection, but all teams are facing the same problem, i.e., their players have joined the Olympic Team.”
He also pointed out that the Boss opponent played against Al Wahda in the league and within 48hrs will play their second leg match of the Pro Cup against Al Ain “indeed, football is full of challenges and we have to show that we all set to face and come over them through focusing in turning all available players to be in form.”
Responding to a question on his team’s coming match against the Emirates FC, he said: “We must win all competitors in all competitions. I know it will not be an easy mission given it is an away match. This match is critical for us to guarantee we qualify to the next stage. We must win since we won the Emirate at home by 2-0 in the first leg match.”
