“It is important to win Al Nasr in the coming home clash match,” Al Ain Team’s defender Mohannad El Enezi said in the pre-match press conference dedicated for his team’s clash match against Al Nasr Team.

Two days ahead of matchweek 23 of AGL, El Enezi stressed that the players are well aware that their mission against Al Nasr will not be easy; “however, the head coach makes all the necessary arrangements to perform well that will help us to win the match despite suffering from several absences.”

Al Ain center defender believes that the match against Al Nasr would be an exceptional opportunity to prepare for the coming game of the AFC Champions League 2021. He said: “We could identify mistakes and avoid them in the upcoming confrontations to boost all positive aspects in the right manner.”

Commenting on a question on the upcoming play-off match of ACL-21, he said: “We are all fully focusing on the next match based on the Club’s strategy in dealing with each match separately. Al Ain is currently experiencing a positive period compared to the team’s good performance and results. We are looking forward to improving our position on the standing table, and then we would think about our first match in ACL-21 scheduled to be held on 10 April 2021 in KSA.”

The Boss star also took the opportunity to congratulate his team’s mates, Khalid Eisa and Laba Kodjo, for winning the Star Player of the Month Award.

“The young players’ performance is promising and makes us feel optimistic about the future of the Boss,” he said in response to a question about his assessment of the new young faces in the team.

He added: “In Al Ain Club, we all deal with each other as one family. It is a legacy passed through all generations established by this big Club. All sights are always set to win titles and trophies locally and continentally.”

He signed off by hailing the young players’ performance and that he is happy for being supported by the head coach, Club management, and the experienced players wishing them all the best of luck in their future career.
