Al Ain Club announced its contract with defender Khaled Mohammed Al Hashemi, “26 years old,” from Bani Yas Club, for a period of three seasons, to strengthen the team’s defensive system starting next season, and the new defender is scheduled to appear with “The Boss” in shirt No. 14.
The player signed the contract, at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, after he completed all the procedures for his registration in the list of the first football team, in the presence of two members of the Steering Committee of the Affairs of Al Ain Football Club Company, Awad Muhammad Sabih Al Kaabi and Muhammad Obaid Hammad.
Mohammed Obaid Hammad, a member of the Steering Committee of Al Ain Football Club Affairs Management, welcomed Khaled Al-Attas to The Boss, emphasizing that the player is considered one of the most prominent citizen defenders at the present time, wishing him and all his fellow Al-Ain players success in achieving the club’s goals in the new football season, while expressing his deep thanks and appreciation to the management of Bani Yas Club, for the professionalism of dealing during the negotiation stage.
A member of the Steering Committee of the Affairs of Al Ain Football Club Company confirmed that the club’s philosophy in summer contracts at the current stage depends on the recommendation of the technical director according to the needs of the team, which is based on standards related to the technical capabilities and quality of the players, citizens, foreigners and expats.

Khaled Mohammed Al-Hashemi is considered one of the best defenders in the country, after he proved his skills as back defense, in addition to his proficiency in playing in other places, most notably the right back, and the axis of the defensive midfield. He was also famous for his high concentration and fighting spirit, which enabled him to show great abilities in making goals. The new Al Ain defender is also distinguished by his aerial skills and the ability to extract the ball from the opponents.
