Wearing Jersey # 27.. Sultan Al Shamesi: Looking Forward to Joining UAE Football Team Through the Boss’ Gate
Al Ain Football Club has revealed this evening that the newly-arrived player, Sultan Al Shamesi “25 years old”, has finally joined the lineup of the Boss as a free player coming from Bani Yas Team. Al Shamesi will wear Jersey No. 27.
Al Shamesi expressed his honor and pride to be part of Al Ain Club, the Boss of the UAE football and one of the best clubs in Asia. He emphasized: “Joining Al Ain Club gives me a great motivation to always do the best in defending the badge of this great club.”
He added: “I have great ambitions to be fulfilled with the Boss squad and look forward to returning to the international list again. I will do my best and spare no effort to be up the expectations of the Club’s the management, coach and fans.”
Al Shamesi expressed his deep appreciation to the Al Ain fans for their warm welcome, and “Al Ain is fortunate with its grassroots who play a great role in the team’s positive performance, and being away from the stands always has a negative impact on the team.”
As for selecting No. 27, he said: “This number is no more than a number on my shirt, but I consider it a special number for me. I love it because it became my companion and part of my successes. I wore it when I was playing for Al Jazeera and Bani Yas, and it accompanies me today to Al Ain.”
Biography
Sultan Al Shamesi trained and played for the junior teams of Al Jazira football academy and school until he joined the Al Jazira First Football Team. He then played for Al Dhafra on loan, before returning to Al Jazira at the end of his contract and then joined Bani Yas Club as a free player.
Playing for the “Blues” Bani Yas was a turning point in the player’s career, as he was always selected in the first IX line up in all matches for two seasons before his contract expired and joined the Boss squad.
