Winning the full points, Al Ain secures a 2-1 win over Al Nasr
Al Ain made a 3-game win streak in Round 4 of AGL after knocking off Al Nasr 2-1 today evening at the AL Maktoum Stadium.
With a tally of 9 points now, Al Ain is placed 4th in the AGL table without forgetting its delayed game versus Al Ahli from the 3rd round. Meanwhile, Al Nasr is positioned 9th with only 3 points.
Early at 8th minute, the Brazilian winger Caio Lucas scored a lead before Al Nasr’s Moroccan Abdulaziz Barrada brought back the scoreboard to a tie at 21st minute. Only 2 minutes later, Al Nasr’s Khalid Jalal scored an own goal.
At 14th minutes, Al Ain’s goalkeeper Mohamed Saeed Busenda brilliantly saved his net from a penalty kick played by Mahmood Khamis.
Dibba will host Al Ain in the 5th round of AGL next Saturday.
