With ten players.. “Al Zaeem” regains the top spot in ADNOC Pro League with three goals

“Al Zaeem” managed to regain the top spot in ADNOC Pro League with a deserved 3-1 win over the guest Emirates Club, in the match held this evening at HBZS, as part of the sixth round of the League.

The first half of the match ended with “Al Zaeem” leading the guests by three goals, with Laba Kodjo scoring two goals, 7’ & 45+4’, and Erik Jorgens, 44’, while Andrés Iniesta scored for the guests from a penalty kick, 57’. Khaled Issa also saved a penalty kick from Iniesta himself. Al Ain Captain, Bandar Al Ahbabi, received a red card after just 11 minutes from the kick-off, with Al Ain completing the match with ten players.

With this result, Al Ain raises its points tally to 15 at the top, while Emirate Club remains with just five points in eleventh place.
