The Most Important Stations
Sultan Rashid, member of the Board of Directors of the Al Ain Football Club Company and Supervisor of Football Academy Sector, held a meeting with the players and the technical and administrative staff following the end of the game to congratulate them on the occasion of winning the two titles. He praised sincere efforts exerted by everyone in the technical, administrative and medical staffs as well as the players and all the academy members who contributed to the success of the team since the beginning of the season till the finish line.”
He continued saying, “Allah Al Mighty always grants us success in all our tasks. It is  certain that the achievements cannot be realized except through the spirit of the team, determination and hard work. By the end of this season, everyone should think about the most important moments of the challenge journey to win the title. I think the team’s   confrontation against Al Sharjah was one of the most important one. Al Ain was lagging behind the opponent team by the result of 0-3 until the 87th minute, before Al Ain players were able to draw in decisive minutes. During that match, the team showed the desire, concentration and fighting spirit required. All these qualities were so important to finish on the podium. Also, the match against Al Wasl in the Cup final match where the result was 3-4 to Al Wasl till the extra time where Al Ain scored the drew goal and won the match by penalty shoots. There are important details of such as commitment, discipline and great enthusiasm that always make the difference. Indeed, hard workers will be rewarded and always God reward the hard workers by good luck and success.”
Sultan Rashid assured the champions of the two titles that the real heroic moment is when the majority of you become part of the first team and the national team. He pointed out, “The ceremony dedicated to celebrate your memorable win of the two titles will be in the presence of H. E. the Chairman and Board of Directors of the Football Company within the next few days, with all my sincere wishes of success and good luck.”

Al Ain was able to defeat Al Wasl team in the first and second leg by four goals in the League Championship. However, in the final match in the Cup Competition, it ended with a dramatic draw during the original time 4/4 before referring to the penalty shootouts.
